Age 13 · 8th Grade, St. Peter's Central Catholic School · Worcester, MA
Brandon builds things. Lego creations. Robots made from cardboard. Drawings in his free time. And, more and more, a reputation as a young leader his community can count on.
On November 14 at Knights, Crowns & Community, For One Child Foundation will honor Brandon with the 2026 Young Royal Ambassador Award.

Meet Brandon
Brandon is an eighth grader at St. Peter's Central Catholic School in Worcester. He plays defense on his school soccer team and can't wait for basketball season so he can join that team too. When he isn't on the field, you'll find him drawing, building Legos, or engineering robots out of cardboard.
Leading With Responsibility
Last year, Brandon served as treasurer of his school's student council, and the job taught him a lot.
"I learned that taking care of money comes with a lot of responsibility and trust," he says. He has brought that lesson home: the money he earns doing chores goes into his safe box, and he uses it responsibly.

Thinking Before Reacting
Brandon's biggest inspiration is his uncle. "When something is hectic, in high-tension situations, he thinks about how he will solve it and responds with sympathy," Brandon says.
He's learned to do the same. "When I get into a situation where I'm angry, I keep my emotions down and think about the situation before reacting."
Small Moments, Real Help
For Brandon, helping others means knowing "the person I helped will benefit and have a better day."
One moment made him especially proud: his principal was carrying an armful of books, lost her balance, and nearly fell. Brandon was there to catch her.
"Getting involved is the best way to grow personally, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact in your community," he says.

Big Goals
Brandon wants to become a robotics engineer, to "create, build, and form business ideas," and to build a network of future leaders.
And if he could make one change in the world? Build a shelter for people experiencing homelessness.
What This Award Means
Brandon's first reaction to the news: "Shocked and proud."
"It's an honor for my personal growth. It gives me more courage to know that I can do more in life."
"I want my legacy to be compassion, generosity, and the courage to stand up for what's right." — Brandon
His Message to Other Kids
"You might feel young, but that doesn't mean you can't make a difference. Your voice, ideas, and actions can create big changes in life."
We'll celebrate Brandon at Knights, Crowns & Community on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Thank you to everyone joining us for a sold-out evening honoring the young people leading the way.
